Bikaner, You will be thrilled to hear the story of this grandmother. I will not find words to express my happiness. Grandma is 92 years old and has become a National Master Athletics Champion. She won gold medals in 3 events including sprint race and is now going for the World Championship.
This 92 year old grandmother Pani Devi lives in Chaudhary Colony of Bikaner. He has defeated age. People of their age have either passed away or those who are there are sitting on cots. But Pana Devi has recently returned after winning the 44th National Master Athletics Championship 2024 held in Pune. He won 3 gold medals. Won one gold medal in 100 meter sprint race and the remaining two in shot put and discus throw. Pana Devi’s next destination is now the World Championship. They have started preparations for that. Grandma will now go to Sweden.
Grandma’s health tips
Pana Devi told that she does all her work herself. Regarding her good health and long life, she told that she does not eat fast food, canned food and drinks cold water. Wakes up at 5 in the morning. Then she gives bread to the temple, cows and grains to the birds. At home she eats buttermilk, rabri, millet and wheat bread. Eat dinner early in the evening. She also does other household chores.
Grandson inspired
Pana Devi tells that her grandson Jai Kishan had inspired her to play. Jai Kishan is also a national player. For a long time he has been making children practice various sports activities. One day, to show his work, he took grandmother Pana Devi with him to the stadium. Since then, grandmother also started visiting the stadium every day. One day grandmother said she also wanted to play. Jaikishan encouraged his grandmother and today his enthusiasm is visible to everyone. Pana Devi will now inspire village women to take up sports
family of 80 members
Grandson Jai Kishan Godara told that he has a big family. Grandmother Pana Devi has five sons and three daughters. Now they have great grandchildren and great granddaughters. Altogether there is a family of 80 members. Jaikishan is now trying to get cooperation from the government and Bhamashah to encourage grandmother’s blossoming.
